One of the Belvoir Angel headstones in Swithland slate by a local craftsman. Though the top has been defaced, the wing structure and part of the ruff can be seen, with an hourglass and crossed bones to the sides. Some serifs are decorated with curls. Here lyeth the Body of Mary Chamberlin Wife of Thomas Chamberlin. She Departed this Life October 27th . 1704 and in the 27th year of her Age. (Photo Apr 2014).
