A Grade I Listed Building in Stoke Dry, Rutland

Church St Andrew, Stoke Dry

South porch, rebuilt c1906. Arched south ailse window with straight mullions - the lack of tracery perhaps an outward gesture of non-embellishment from the Reformation, and it matches the plainness of the c1600 mullioned, straight-headed window on the right. C15 Perpendicular Gothic clerestory. (Photo Oct 2007).
