GV II
House. C18 except for west part which, with adjacent cartshed/granary range,
is early C19 remodelling of single-storey C18 structure. Squared tooled stone
with cut dressings; Scottish slates on main part of house, pantiles elsewhere.
House 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. Central half-glazed door with patterned
overlight: 4-pane sash windows. Coped gables; left end stack stepped and banded,
right end stack stepped and corniced. Right return shows small 4-pane attic
casement. Lower l-bay part to left shows half-glazed door and 4-pane sash
windows, all in alternating-block surrounds. Farmbuilding to far left shows a
pair of segmental arches with 4 part-slatted windows in stone surrounds above.
Left part of house and farmbuilding have left gables with raised reverse-stepped
coping. Left return of farmbuilding shows external stair to boarded door in
alternating-block surround.
