TL 90 SW STEEPLE MALDON ROAD

4/169 Barn approx. 25 metres
north of Grange
Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. C18 with some older bays. Timber framed and weatherboarded, brick
plinth. Grey slate roof. Central midstrey outshot to left and right. 7 bays.
Boarded roof of side purlin ridgeboard construction. Through bracing to most
walls, but 2 bays with pegged arched bracing and bridled scarfs. Some hanging
knees and some straight braces to tie beams. Jowled storey posts. 2 bay
midstrey. Part of farm complex.
