SJ 88 SW WILMSLOW FORMER U.D. STANNEYLANDS ROAD
(North Side)

1/306 Barn 15m west of Little
Stannilands.

GV II

Barn: early C17 with some C20 alterations. Timber-framed partly on
stone plinth and some repairs in washed brick. Thatched roof.
Rectangular plan. 3-bay west front has pair of C20 doors in large
central cart entrance. To either side are 4 by 3 regular small timber
small frames.
Interior: 2 roof trusses with cambered tiebeams and 2 diagonal
struts. Windbraced trenched purlins.

Added to the west is a lower 3-bay garage not included in the item.
