House. C18 and later. Local stone cut and squared, with ashlar dressings; hipped plain clay tile roof over stone slate
base courses; brick chimney stacks, one colourwashed. 2 storeys with attics, 3 bays. Plinth with basement windows,
rusticated quoins; 16-pane sash windows to outer bays in Gibbsian architrave surround with quintuple keystones;
matching 12-pane sash to upper centre bay, and underneath an 8-panel door with semi-cirular fanlight, up 3 steps, in
semi-circular arched Gibbsian architrave under open pediment carried on console brackets; later extension to rear,
Westwards. Interior not seen. From the facade details this could well be by Nathaniel Ireson.
