Public house. c1830 in Hitch Patent bricks. Low pitched
pantiled roof with Welsh slated edge, wide eaves. 2 storeys.
Painted first floor band, rusticated Doric angle pilasters
without bases. 3 flush sash windows with glazing bars, moulded
lintels. Ground floor canted bay window. Door hood. One of the
few examples remaining of an unusual form of brickwork of
local origin.
