The New Rose and Crown Public House

II

House, now public house with living accommodation over. C18,
altered and extended C20. Yellow brick, colourwashed over
tarred brick plinth, hipped old tile roof, colourwashed brick
chimney at left hand, yellow brick chimneys at rear. Ground
and first floors facing Watton Road, 2 nearly flush set sash
windows with glazing bars. C20 lean-to porch with old tiled
roof right of centre. Frontage to Park Road has 1 first floor
flush set sash window at left with glazing bars, and 2 blank
recesses, ground floor 1 large sash window, with glazing bars
at left centre, 1 C20 fixed casement, and blank recess. Mid
C20 single storey flat roofed extensions, not of interest,
along Watton Road frontage.
