House. C17 origins, modified. Local stone rubble with painted ashlar dressings; plain clay tile roof with simple
gables; brick chimney stacks. 'L'-plan. 2 storeys with attic, 2 wide bays. Paired 12-pane sash windows in architraved
surrounds with plain central mullions; between bays wide 6-flush-panel door in debased classical stone surround; in
roof small dormer window over bay 1 and larger pitched roofed dormer over doorway. Hall has moulded edge board
partitions between it and East room, with C18 style dado rail; staircase early Cl9 dog-leg pattern; a C17 6-panel door
in single storey rear kitchen; other doors mostly C18 2-panel; to rear more sash windows, but also pair Chippendale
style glazed doors opposite entrance, possibly relocated.
