House. C18. Local stone rubble, formerly limewashed; hipped plain clay tile roof; brick chimney stacks. T-plan. 2 storeys with attic, 8 bays. 2-light small-pane casement windows, many with crown glass, the lower under exposed timber windows; C20 French doors to bay 1, 4-panel door to bay 5 part glazed, set in a C20 glass and timber porch; above this last a small oval window in a rectangular stone; to attics are dormer windows under timber pediments right of bays 3 and 6.
Interior not seen, but reported are several scroll stop chamfered beams and roof trusses with collars roughly nailed on.
House disused, (Jan 1984) stands in grounds of the Unigate Milk Factory. House said to derive its name from site of the bell foundry. (VAG Report, SRO Unpublished, 1975).
