Boundary wall, railings, gate piers and gates, 25 metres South of West Hill House

GV II

Boundary wall and gates. C19. Local stone rubble and ashlar, with wrought iron gates and railings. Rubble walls about 600mm high with ashlar copings, capped with railings to about 1.8 metres high, having waisted spikes with urn finals to standards; square rusticated piers about 600mm wide and 2.5 metres high to ends of wall, to gateway splays and to gate piers, with plinth, copings and C20 ball finials; the West gate pier has incised panel reading "West Hill House"; gates match railings, with middle rails of crossed cars.
