Built circa 1810 of plastered timber framing. Pedimented front with pilasters
and flanking wings of one storey with open pediments and small semi-circular
windows. Other windows small-paned sashes, roof slate clad. This hall was
the Old Assembly Room seen in J Constable's painting of Dedham Vale.
