Barn. Said to be Elizabethan, second half of C16 or early C17. Coursed,
squared clunch, red brick dressings, red pantiled roof. Externally divided
in 2 storeys. North front has one ground floor and 6 first floor irregularly
spaced rusticated brick rectangular openings, one open rectangular window.
4 irregularly spaced brick buttresses with set-offs. 2 inserted C20 cart
entrances, 2 C20 lean-to additions at east and west. East gable ground floor
door, first and second floor brick dressed openings, brick lozenge in apex,
brick end quoins and tumbling. West gable has similar gable details, C20
addition below. Double frame multiple bayed roof of unusual construction
with massive raised cruck-like elbowed wall posts with collars. Separate
frame above with wind-bracing, upper collars, butt purlins and central ridge.
