TF 84 SE BURNHAM THORPE WALSINGHAM ROAD (north)

7/96 East End Farm House.

Farmhouse. C17 with early to mid C18 alterations, perhaps 1729. Coursed,
squared clunch, brick dressings, red pantiled roof. Ground floor has at east
3 irregularly spaced windows, 2 regularly spaced windows at west, 2 east and
2 west first floor windows, all sashes with glazing bars in flat plastered
rendered architraves. Central door, C20 replacement. One ground floor partly
blocked brick dressed window, one first floor rusticated brick dressed window.
Sundial with datestone, W.G. 1729, suggests date of refenestration. Brick
rusticated end quoins, brick kneelers and eaves level heightening courses.
Coped parapet gables. Central axial and one east end stack.
