SX 0990 MINSTER

7/78 Minster Cottage
GV II
House. Circa late C17 or C18, facade remodelled in late C19. Rendered and painted
stone rubble. Bitumen coated rag slate roof with gable ends continued over circa late
C18 outhshot to rear. Brick end stacks with stone rubble stack probably heating rear
outshot to right. This stack may have originally been a rear-lateral stack to right
hand room.
2 room and cross passage plan with outshot added to rear in circa later C18.
2 storeys symmetrical three window front. Ground floor with central partly glazed C20
door and circa late C19 4-pane sashes.
Interior not inspected.
Important for group value with Homeleigh and The Cottage (qv), The Corner Cottage
(qv) and Round Tree Cottage (qv).
