House and shop, now converted to house. Circa mid C18. Rendered and painted slate-
stone rubble. Bitumen coated rag slate roof with gable ends and lean-to rag slate
roof over outshot on front left. Slate roof with gable end to rear wing. Stone
rubble stack with rendered shaft on left hand gable end.
Plan: possibly originally of 1 room plan heated by a stack on the higher left hand
gable end. Rear wing of 1 room plan probably remodelled from lean-to outshot in
circa C19 and partly rebuilt in C20. Single storey outshot added on front left in
circa mid C19.
2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2 window front with single storey outshot on front left and
ground sloping down to right. 6-pane window and 8-pane horned sash in lean-to
outshot on left. Part glazed 4-panel door to right, flanked by two 6-pane windows.
First floor with 4-pane sash in gabled half dormer on left and 4-pane sash to right.
Interior not inspected.
Forms part of picturesque group in High Street, Boscastle.
