GV II

House. Mid C18, extending to rear in C19. Red brick with blue/grey brick headers
and plain tiled, hipped roofs. Two storeys over basement with moulded brick
modillioned cornice to eaves. Originally three bay symetrical front, extended by
one bay set back to right. End stack to right and front ridge stack to right, rear
ridge to left of centre and further stacks to rear. Original outer windows on
first floor, 16-pane glazing bar sashes in stone surrounds with pilaster-pier
mouldings. Central window to first floor-12-panes. Outer windows to ground floor
16-pane glazing bar sash windows flanking central 6-panel door in strip surround
with open pediment over scroll brackets. One bay addition to right with one 12-
pane glazing bar sash window on each floor under gauged brick heads. Left hand
return front - 5 window range with angle bays to ground floor.
