House

GV II

House. Late C16/C17. Timber framed, with brick and whitewashed infill, some
rendered, half-hipped, plain tiled roof. Two storeys. Four framed bays, originally
with smoke bay, diagonal bracing to first floor right of centre. Stack to left of
centre and to left end. Three first floor and one ground floor window. Two case-
ment doors, one to left and one to right. New entrance to rear in re-entrant angle
with C20 wing. Right hand return front: galleted sandstone infill to ground floor.
Sandstone block plinth.
