House. C17, around older core. Timber framed on rendered sandstone rubble plinth
clad in sandstone rubble with brick angle quoins and under plain tiled roofs, half-
hipped to right and with tile hung gable end to left. Rectangular plan with four
ranges around a central, lead cistern. Two storeys with stacks to left and right
ranges and to rear. Two diamond-pane,leaded casement windows to first floor right,
one 4-light casement on ground floor in chamfered brick surround. One mullioned
and transomed window to first floor of gable wing to left, one 3-light window in
chamfered brick surround to ground floor. Door to centre in gabled brick infilled
timber porch. C17 studded door. Rear elevation - galleted sandstone with brick
dressings. Cellars to rear. Part of a good group of farm buildings.
