House. C16, with C19 and C2O extension to left and rear. Timber framed old range
on rubblestone plinth, underbuilt in whitewashed brick and tile hung above, some
in fishscale pattern. Plain tiled roof, hipped with gablet to right. Extension
to left of whitewashed brick with half-hipped plain tiled roof. Brick extensions
to rear and sandstone extensions to left end. Two storeys with brick dentilled
eaves on left hand extension and over-sailing hip to left at junction with wing.
Ridge stack to right of centre, further stacks to rear. Irregular fenestration
with three first floor windows and three windows below. One three-light window on each
floor of end of left hand extension, one window on each floor of return fronts of
wing - with shutters. Door to left at junction with wing, part glazed and panelled.
Substantial framing exposed internally.
