Stable. 1902, by F W Troup for J King. Red brick in Flemish bond with grey headers
forming zig-zag pattern; weatherboard gables; plain tile roof. One storey with
loft; 3 irregular bays. Board doors; wood-framed, leaded-light, casement windows.
Courtyard elevation; recessed central bay has narrow door (to stairs) on left and
2 stable doors. Outer bays each gabled and with a 3-light segmental header-brick
arched window to ground floor; left bay with projecting outshut toilet, 2-light
loft window and door in right return; right bay with board loft door, under
projecting hoist. Stack to left end. Rear: two 2-light windows at eaves. Right
return: a 2-light window to each floor. Left return: one 2-light window. An integral
part of the complex of buildings at Kingwood, in function complimenting the coach-
house opposite (qv) State of disrepair at inspection. Included for group value only.
