Wall memorial in the north aisle, commemorating Edward Wilson, Clerk MA of St Catherines Hall, Cambridge, 26 years incumbent of this parish, who died 27th Mar 1859 age 57. Clerk in Holy Orders, is implied but not specifically stated, so why make the point? Perhaps he is proclaiming the strength of his Orthodox ministry, in the face of Nonconformist competition.
