Brook House

GV II

House. Early C17. Red brick in Flemish bond. Plain tile roof. 2
storeys. Plain brick eaves band. Hipped roof. Rear stack to left,
and rear stacks to left and right of centre. Regular 3-window front
of nine-pane sashes in open boxes. Twelve-pane ground-floor sashes
with segmental heads. Central half-glazed door in architrave with
slender fluted pilasters, diamond paterae and corniced hood. Trellised
wooden porch with leaded gabled roof, moulded bargeboards and pendant.
Red brick lean-to to left, with eight-pane sash and with plain-tile
roof hipped to front. Interior not inspected.
