Rare survival of early to mid C19 5 storey warehouse, bounded by Hillard's Court
and Cinnamon Street to the east and north. Built of stock brick with plain
parapet coping. Chamfered corner to Hillard's Court with the east elevation
cranked round into Cinnamon Street. Six bay front to High Street. Squat
segmental arched windows with thin Portland stone sills and iron small pane
industrial glazing, flush jamb hatch rank in first bay from west. Large segmental
arched keystoned waggon entrance through ground and first floors with impost
moulding and modernised works entrance next to Hillard's Court corner with
small segmental arched light above retaining wheel pattern to cast ironwork.
The east and west elevations have similar fenestration flanking the flush
jamb hatch ranks. Cast iron pivot hoists with circular braced spandrels.
The straight west elevation windows retain wheel patterned ironwork. Hipped
roofs divided by fire walls. Timber floors and posts but with some later
cast iron stanchions.
