GV II
Villa, early to mid C19, red brick with slate hipped roof and
stacks on side ridges. Two-storeys, square plan with south-east
extension. Three-window front originally of 16-pane sashes each
side, 12-pane sash to centre first floor and 6-panel door with
blind fanlight recessed in arched surround with stone imposts.
Ground floor sashes have been altered.
One of a group with Newton House (q.v.) and Blaxhall House (q.v.),
but probably slightly later built.
