Headstone, circa 1938, by Eric Gill to James (d.1943) and Alice (d.1937) Jones, parents of David Jones. Portland stone cross, with raised border and containing the Chi Rho monogram, on plinth with inscription in Roman capitals. Circular plaque of shelly limestone within kerb, possibly by David Kindersley, to David Jones CH CBE (1895-1974) the painter poet and calligrapher and pupil of Eric Gill, and to Alice Mary Hyne (1891- 1974).
