Villa, now flats. c1830-40 with restorations, conversion and
extension c1990-92. Probably by RW and C Jearrad. Ashlar, now
stuccoed, over brick with slate roof and brick and stucco end
and rear stacks with cornices (4 altogether); iron railings.
Domestic Tudor style.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys on basement, 2 first-floor windows. Left,
gabled bay has tripartite windows, those to ground floor have
3/3 sashes, those to first floor have 2/2 sashes; similar
ground-floor window to right, all under hoodmoulds; otherwise
first-floor at right stepped back and has 2-light window with
casements. Basement has two 2-light windows with casements;
basement entrance at left a C20 door. Kneelers and copings to
gable. SW elevation, 2 storeys on basement and 5 (originally)
+ 4 first-floor windows. Central gabled single bay; bay at
right set back with projecting ground-floor loggia with four
4-centre-arched windows with shaped 12/12 sashes. Otherwise
paired 3/3 and 2/2 sashes, 6/6 sash and French windows.
