C17 (the east wing earlier than the west). L plan. White-washed stone
rubble, long and low proportions, 2 storeys. Gabled porch. 5 16-paned
sash windows on upper floor. Pigeon cote in house wall. Former cottage
attached has a bee-hive oven and stone stairs. A stone well-head abuts
the side wall. Attached barn has 2 wood-mullioned windows, and former spinning
gallery. Interior has an C18 wood fireplace, panelling, spice-cupboard
and dresser, stone floors, oak stairs with panelling, and stone benches
in the dairy.
