The Arms are: Gules between two crowns or a cross raguly proper impaling in base a third crown. The vertical grooves on the shield represent heraldic red. The occasional hatching on the cross indicates a natural colour (here it is wood bark, so dark green to contrast with red). The motto Vivit post funera virtus translates as Virtue outlasts life.
