Row of 4 cottages. Late C18. Coursed and roughly dressed
limestone, rendered except No.9 to front; gabled pantile roof
and brick end and ridge stacks. Double-depth plan, each with
one room to front and integral rear outshut with services. 2
storeys; 4-window range. C20 doors. Late C19 and C20 casements
set in plain 2-light stone-mullioned windows. Casements to
rear.
INTERIOR: No.7 includes original joinery and an open fire to
the right gable end.
Deeds state that No.7 dates from 1790. A substantially
complete row of artisan housing of this date.
