II

House. Dated 1720 by owner, extended 1820. Painted squared,
limestone with brick left-hand gable and lateral stacks, and
slate cross gabled roof. Single-depth plan. Late Georgian
style. 2 storeys and basement; 4-window range. Double-fronted
with a right-hand gabled cross wing, and steps up to a
half-glazed C20 door with a wrought-iron early C19 tented
canopy. 8/8-pane ground-floor and smaller first-floor and
basement sashes, with fine bars. INTERIOR: erly C19 features
including rear lateral dogleg stair.
