Church room, now post delivery office. Dated 1893. Rock-faced stone with ashlar dressings and fish scale slate roofs with decorative ridge tiles, coped gables and finials. Central octagonal wooden bell turret with steeply gabled openings and spire topped with weather vane. Gothic Revival style. Cruciform plan. EXTERIOR: single storey plus basement; 3 bays. Central gable with flanking buttresses has moulded flat-headed doorway with drip mould, containing pointed arched double door with enriched spandrels. On either side, a single lancet. Above the door, a triple mosaic panel with central clock flanked by figures and inscription, divided by stone mullions under a drip mould. This commemorates the building's use as a hospital for Belgian forces during World War I. Above again, a slit ventilator. To right, a square porch with diagonal buttress and crenellated parapet. Small flat-headed doorway, and above, a blind quatrefoil. Right return has a 2-light flat-headed mullioned window. To left, main range has a triple lancet under a flat head. Gables have a graduated triple lancet to left and a quadruple lancet to right. Rear has a central projection with a graduated quadruple lancet. Basement has C20 door flanked by 2-light mullioned window and single window. INTERIOR not inspected.
