Toll house and attached railing and
wall

II

Toll house, now house, and attached boundary walls. Early C19.
Ashlar with hipped and gabled slate roof and 2 coped stone
ridge stacks. Deep eaves with moulded wooden gutters.
Pilasters to the main part of the house. Single storey. Cross
plan. Windows are shouldered glazing bar casements. Canted
front projection with shouldered doorcase and C20 door,
flanked on either side by a single 2-light casement window.
Left return angle has a similar 2-light window. To its left, a
wrought-iron railing with chamfered stone plinth, approx 30m
long. Left side has a projecting gable to right with a 2-light
window. To left, a similar window. Right side has a single
window in the gable and a 2-light window to right. Beyond, a
slab coped boundary wall, approx 10m long, with a close
boarded door. INTERIOR not inspected.
