Lodge, now offices. c1820. Squared, coursed limestone, ashlar
lateral stack and stone slate cross-gabled roof. T-shaped
single-depth plan. Tudor Gothic Revival style.
Single storey and attic; 1-window range. Coped gables to the
entrance and street elevations have moulded kneelers and
openwork finials, with an octagonal stack in the rear
re-entrant. 5-centre-arched doorway with flanking niches with
impost heads, and panelled door. 4-light canted bays to the
return gables, with 1-light windows above, and leaded lattice
casements.
INTERIOR: details include chamfered beams, a central entrance
hall and winder stair.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: attached curved dwarf wall to W with iron
railings, 2 capped, square gate piers and iron gates.
Formerly the lodge to Castlefields, Castle Walk (qv).
