Pair of attached houses, now one bank. c1870s. Limestone
ashlar, large central ashlar ridge stack, hipped slate roof.
Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; 4-window range. A symmetrical
front divided by rusticated pilaster strips, rusticated ground
floor with a cornice, first-floor modillion cornice,
second-floor swagged frieze and cornice, and balustrade with
panelled dies and 5 ball finials. Right-hand doorway with C20
door. Eared and shouldered architraves to first and second
floors, the former with dentil cornice and pediments,
segmental to the outside, the latter raised over carved keys,
and horned plate-glass sashes. INTERIOR: the ground floor
completely altered and made into one room.
