6/75 Lamp post at NGR ST 3013 1134

Lamp post. 1897, restored 1977. Cast iron painted black with paid enrichments. Gas lamp converted to electricity. Top,
column entriched with an eclectic selection of motifs, column splayed out towards plinth with deep concave moulded
cornice, square dada and moulded plinth. Panel on east side states that it was erected in honour of Queen Victoria's
Golden Jubilee, and restored by Somerset County Council in 1977.
