House and including garden wall to front. Circa early C19. Stucco to front over
granite ashlar plinth, painted rubble to sides and rear. Half-hipped scantle slate
roof with brick chimneys over side walls and over cross wall towards right.
Double depth plan of 2 rooms wide house with central cross passage leading to central
stair between rear service rooms, left, and integral or possibly slightly later one
room wide probably servants cottage, right, with wing at right angles to rear.
2 storeys. Overall 5-window east front with plinth, first floor string and paired
brackets to fascia board. Shallow arches. Symmetrical 3-window house left and 2-
window cottage right. House had round-arched central doorway with original 6-panel
door and fanlight. Original 12-pane hornless sashes to most openings, some horned
replacements.
Interior not inspected but said to contain much original detail.
Garden wall adjoins at left-hand side withs ramped scantle slate and clay ridge tile
coping, returns at right angles to either side to low granite ashlar wall, originally
