House. C17. Timber framed on stone rubble plinth partly with later red brick nogging and partly clad in corrugated iron sheets. Gabled-ended plain tile roof partly clad in corrugated iron sheets. Sandstone rubble lateral sta~k with brick shaft. PLAN: Rectangular l-room plan with lateral fireplace on side. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic. There is now a doorway at either end. Exposed scroll framing, some of the panels now open, some brick nogged and parts of the elevations faced in corrugated iron sheets. Diagonal corner braces and struts in the gables. Large sandstone lateral stack projecting on north east side and large C20 corrugated iron sheet outbuilding attached to south west side.
INTERIOR: First and second floors supported on 2 x 3 intersecting cross-beams with straight cut stops; joists removed from first floor but some remain on second floor. Jowled posts supporting wall-plates and second floor tie-beams. 2-bay queen- post roof with high collars; queen-posts of centre truss missing; diagonal ridgepiece and rafters complete. C19 brick fireplaces with evidence of an oven and kiln.
