Gateway and gatehouse. Circa 1895. Coursed and squared lias, Ham stone dressings including eaves cornice, plain tile
roof with rested ridge and ornamental end finials, 2 brick ridge stacks. In a loose Arts and Crafts style, similar to
work by Skipper of Norwich. Rectangular on plan with small wing at rear. 2 storeys. Frontage dominated by large
throughway to left, moulded lintel on in stone corbels, beams of first floor projecting over at eaves level. paired
plank gates with iron strap-hinges; over a gabled dormer with paired 2-light casements with glazing bars, planted
frame, rendered and colourwashed nogging. Right of frontage with irregular fenestration, 3-light casements with glazing
bars and a single-light opening. Forecourt to right of front, coursed and squared lias walling, curving section of
scrolly iron railings.
