former farmyard at Burton Farm

Range of cattle sheds. Late C18. Rubble, Ham stone columns, hipped tile roofs. U-plan. Frontages of Ham stone columns
supporting roof, now costly obscured by C20 hay barn which has been constructed in the farmyard (not of special
interest). The outer ends of each wing are bounded by later outbuildings and a house, (which are not of special
interest). Part of a good C18 farmyard group, see also adjacent Barn. Rear of cattle sheds bound the road.
