Limekiln. Early C19 ; raised in height circa 1860, when the incline plane was
constructed over the limekiln. Slatestone rubble.
Plan: Rectangular plan kiln with 2 wells and one arch to the front ; unusually tall,
about 14 metres.
The limekiln has one round arch with stone dressings to front. Built into the bank
for top loading. There is considerable ivy cover.
