Early C18. 3 storeys red brick rough cast painted fronts. No 11 rendered
painted. Plain rendered strips flanking and dividing. British Lion Public
House has 3 windows, Nos 10 and 11 have 2: sashes, glazing bars intact,
set in moulded flush frames, thin sills. Ground floor of British Lion:
to left hand chamfered edge surround to yard entry with double doors. 2
C19 canted bays of 3 lights, sash, later glazing bars, shallow moulded cornices,
rendered coursed bases. Central 6 panel door in architrave surround, flat
hood-cornice on cut brackets. Ground floor of Nos 10 and 11 circa 1900
shop front, 2 plate glass windows splayed in to door, fascia flanked by
fluted capped brackets. Modern doorway to right. Gable end pantile roof.
Nos 1 to 16 (consec) form a group.
