Drinking fountain. 1863. Chamfered pink granite obelisk mounted on grey granite plinth with moulded
caps and sloping chamfered edges. Semi-circular pink granite bowl attached to plinth, cups and chain
missing. Iron dog trough below. It has the inscription: 'The fear of the Lord is the fountain of life.' The
obelisk is inscribed: 'Presented to the parish of Hornsey by Maria Hawes Ware 1863'.
