Two barns. Probably early to mid C19. Stone rubble with granite dressings. Rag
slate roofs with hipped ends.
Plan: Overall rectangular plan. Row of shippons on ground floor and threshing floor
above. The ground rises to rear providing direct access to threshing floor.
Exterior: Two storeys. Symmetrical barn on right has 4 door openings on ground floor
(one partly blocked). The granite lintels above the openings continue as a granite
string band. First floor has central plank double doors with slate hipped hood
flanked by two tall narrow ventilation slits. Barn to left has two shippon doors
flanking a wide double door opening. Two loft doors on first floor with slate hoods
and two window openings.
To rear, opposing threshing doors with slate hoods. Remains of open-fronted horse-
engine house, several of the granite posts remaining but the roof removed.
Interior: Not inspected.
