3/38 Farmbuilding 10 metres to north
east of Upton Barton
GV II
Farmbuilding. Probably mid C19. Stone rubble with corrugated asbestos above ground
floor on front. Rag slate roof with hipped ends.
Plan: Overall rectangular plan, probably a stable on the ground floor with loft
above. Small lean-to outshut on left hand end.
Exterior: Two storeys. Symmetrical front elevation. Central entrance with plank
door flanked by two probably early C20 2-light casements. The first floor is clad in
corrugated asbestos and appears to have been open-fronted or possibly timber framed.
Central C19 plank door. Lean-to outshut on left hand end with C20 garage door on
ground floor and loft opening above.
Interior not inspected.
