C18. 2 storeys and attic on basement. Coursed cement rendering. Corner
site with Chequers Passage. String course to 1st floor and over 1st floor
windows on both fronts. Parapet with painted stone coping. Mansard slate
roof. 2 gabled dormers. To High Street: 3 windows 1st floor, 2 on ground
floor, sashes with glazing bars in architrave frames with thin keystones.
Central door of 6 flush panels in architrave surround with plain outer casing.
Boldly cut brackets to dentil cornice and pediment. Chequers Passage front:
2 windows to both floors, similar to those facing High Street, glazing bars
intact.

Nos 16 to 22 (consec) and No 24 form a group.
