Situated on the corner of High Street and Chequers Passage.
Early C18 altered. 2 storeys and attic. Stucco faced with coursing. 1st
floor string course, deep coved plaster cornice and hipped slate roof swept
out over eaves.
High Street front has 4 sash windows, no glazing bars in architrave surrounds,
ground floor windows with C19 drip moulds. 4 panel door to right in surround
of pilasters and frieze, cornice gone.
Chequers Passage front has one dormer, 3 windows lst floor and 2 double
windows on ground also with C19 drip moulds, similar to those on High Street.
Central 6 panel door with architrave surround and flat moulded hood on double,
cut scroll brackets.

Nos 16 to 22 (consec) and No 24 form a group.
