House
GV II
Stables, now flats and store. Early-to-mid C18. Ground floor roughly
coursed ragstone, first floor chequered red and grey brick. Plain
tile roof. Double depth. South elevation: 2 storeys on stone plinth.
Dentilled brick eaves cornice. Hipped roof, hips returning. Central
wooden clock turret with bell and weathervane. Altered fenestration of
four 2-light casements. 3 ground-floor windows with cambered brick
heads. Ground-floor doors to west. Interior only partly inspected.
Appears on 1776 painting of Gennings. Included for group value.
