Terraced house with later shop. Early C18, altered. Brown brick
with red brick dressings. Tiled_double pitched roof with dormers
and slate mansard extension to front; mostly original roof
timbers. 3 storeys, attic and basement. 2 windows. late C19/early
C20 shop front with plate glass window having colonettes at
angles and 3 horizontal top lights; fascia with projecting
cornice. Recessed entrance with overlight. Gauged red brick flat
arches to 1st floor windows with cast iron balcony; 2nd floor .
with cambered arch heads. All with late C20 glazing. To rear,
form plan and probably some original fabric of closet wing.
Internally, most of form plan remains. Ground floor altered and
hall panelled late C19/early C20, but from 1st floor upwards,
early C18 panelling and dado stairwell; stair probably later C18.
1st floor mostly altered but panelled stair partition wall and
rear wall remain. 2nd floor has good, complete panelled rooms
with cornices and original doors having H and HL hinges. Attic
with moulded dado rail and cornice.
