Hosier's house and hosiery workshops. c 1850.. Red brick with
painted ashlar dressings. Slate half-hipped roof with single gable
stack. House. 3 storey. 3 bay. Central doorway with single panel door
and overlight, flanked by single glazing bar sashes all with wedge
lintels. To the right a small doorway. Above a narrow glazing bar sash
with broader flanking similar sashes, all with wedge lintels. Above
again a small narrow glazing bar sash with flanking broader small
similar sashes. Beyond to left a single storey workshop addition with
glazed roof and 3 light casement window. Blake Street single bay front
has glazed door with glazing bar overlight and, above a single glazing
bar sash, both with wedge lintels. Above again, a small glazing bar
sash.
Hosiery workshops. 2 storey. 4 bay. Blake Street front with 4 workshop
windows and a doorway to the left, above 4, 3 light workshop windows.
Beyond to left a single bay gabled addition with a 2 light casement
to each floor.
